This workshop addresses four critical topics for executives and investors building global biotech and life science companies in the current challenging financial climate:

China’s biomedical industry is rapidly becoming a global force. Updates from ChinaBio® Consulting will be presented on VC investment, M&A and partnering activity, as well as government funding programs
  • Structuring A Global Life Science Company
How to structure your company to make it attractive to U.S. and China investors and provide rule-of-law and shareholder rights
  • Building A Global Patent Portfolio
How to secure China, U.S. and international patents that provide freedom to operate while blocking your competition
  • Attracting Investment Capital

Who Should Attend

Join other key executives and managers of biotechnology and life science companies interested in learning how to leverage China to raise investment funds, develop new drugs or medical devices, and generate global intellectual property rights. Learn “how to do it” from our speakers who are all senior executives who have successfully put their principles into practice in the real world. Also meet other executives and managers from companies facing the same issues as you.

Raising Funding? We are seeking companies to present to over 50 VCs at the BioBay Investor Forum in Suzhou, August 25-26 (www.BBIF2009.com). Prior presenting companies have raised over $100M US.
